Premium is $119.99/year or $14.99/month and adds instrument-specific intonation analytics, unlimited ear-training and theory tools, the Etude Generator, audio recording, practice routines, Song Map, polyrhythm mode, the metronome pro tools (MIDI clock, vocal click, phrase accent, 16th-note swing, accuracy gate), cloud sync, and unlimited notes and presets. Studio is $249.99/year or $29.99/month and includes everything in Premium plus a full teaching studio with unlimited students, assignments, lesson scheduling, ensemble tuning, and payment tracking.

Not yet. We're building a lessons marketplace for one-on-one online lessons with vetted, background-checked teachers, booked and paid per lesson and separate from the plans on this page, but it isn't open and has no opening date yet. You can join the list at virtuosic.org/lessons to hear when it opens.

Students don't need their own Studio plan. They use the Virtuosic app — on the web and iOS, at app.virtuosic.org on the web — and enter the studio join code their educator shares from the Studio dashboard. Students can join a studio on a free account (accounts are for ages 13 and up) and receive assignments and messages; a Premium subscription unlocks the full practice toolkit (advanced tuner analytics, unlimited presets, AI coaching) that gets the most out of studio membership.

Studio is managed at virtuosic.org — music educators and private instructors subscribe here on the web and access their roster, scheduling, and analytics from any browser. Students use the Virtuosic app (on the web and iOS) and unlock Studio features once their educator invites them with a join code. Studio's dashboard, lesson management, and billing all live on the web; the app is where the practice happens.

Premium subscribers get automatic cloud sync across all devices. Your practice notes, preferences, pitch history, and progress are always up to date.

As you play, Virtuosic analyzes your pitch in real-time and provides specific guidance based on your instrument's known tendencies.

No — it's built to work between lessons, not instead of them. Each week the Weekly Coaching reads the practice you actually did and writes three specific, actionable tips plus a one-sentence summary of your week. It draws on four things: the notes you played (including how steadily you held them), how you spent your practice time, the trend versus your recent weeks, and — if you study in a Studio — the assignments, lesson notes and announcements your instructor shares with you, so the tips reinforce your teacher's plan instead of some generic ideal. It's built only from your own data, and anything your teacher writes is read as reference only. The Practice Notes you keep yourself are not part of it. Like any AI it can occasionally misread something, so treat it as a second opinion, not a verdict. Think of it as a trained ear filling the silence on the days you practice alone. Between reports, Today's Focus turns your weakest notes into a short plan for each day's session.
