Virtuosic does not sell personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do share de-identified aggregate pitch measurements with instrument manufacturers for research purposes — no personal identifiers are attached — but some U.S. state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah) classify this as “sharing.” You may opt out at any time.

The fastest way to opt out:

In the app, open the Account tab and turn off Share Pitch Data (it is off unless you turned it on). Your future pitch data will be excluded from the research dataset.
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends the GPC signal, we treat it as a request to stop sharing. When you use Virtuosic signed in, on this website or in the web app, your account stops contributing pitch data from then on. Data already contributed stays unless you withdraw it below. If you later turn Share Pitch Data back on yourself, that choice stands for your account.
For a complete account-level opt-out, including pitch data already contributed: if you’re signed in, use the withdraw button below — it takes effect immediately. Otherwise use the form and we’ll process the request and reply to confirm.
